After helping launch the career’s of Sydney’s Oliver Tank and Rainbow Chan last year, we are super excited to announce the return of the Northern Lights competition in 2012.

In a nutshell, we’re offering two NSW musicians the experience of a lifetime – a trip to Iceland to perform live in Reykjavik and collaborate with Icelandic musicians. Accompanied and supported by FBi’s Music Director, Dan Zilber, winners will get the chance to meet international artists and draw inspiration from one of the world’s most beautiful landscapes.

FBi will select six finalists, with the final two winners determined through public vote, and winners will be in announced on Monday 15 October. We’re looking for entries from solo artists and electronic music producers across NSW. If you fit the bill, enter now!
