Killer Mike and El-P have been working together in different capacities for years, but it’s their collaboration under the moniker Run The Jewels that crystallised that friendship into something that’s truly exploded the hip hop world.

Touring Australia for the Falls Music & Arts Festival off the back of their second record (and second FBi album of the week) RTJ2, Chris Twite caught up with the two rappers about the huge year that was 2014: from Meow The Jewels, Killer Mike’s activism around Ferguson and the ‘wild west’ that is the modern music industry.
