Christmas Spirit :: Acid Stag’s XXXMAS

December 4th 2012

December is upon us… time to descend into a month-long stretch of boozey Christmas parties, cheesy dress-up themes, bar tabs on your boss and whole-hearted attempts not to get reflective about the year just yet. The hardest part can be choosin’ where you’ll be boozin’, so we’re giving you a helping hand – picking out the creme de la creme of yule-time parties. Might we suggest getting a little bit frisky with the boys from acid stag DJs? They have been manning the decks every Saturday night on FBi’s The Disco Pit, and now they’re throwing a killer gig down FBi Social on Friday 7 December: XXXMAS.

XXXMAS celebrates some of Sydney’s best beat makers, bringing Softwar, Olympic Ayres, Jubilants, Antoine Vice (aka Moonchild) and Debonair to the stage for some pump-up tunes while you position yourself under the mistletone. Headlining the night will be local siren Elizabeth Rose, fresh off the back of collaborating with Sinden and releasing debut EP Crystallise.

To get you in the mood, The Flog asked a few of the artists some Xmas-themed questions… see who’s had a Christmas party pash and who’s ripe for the picking!
