Courtney Barnett puts a lot of effort into sounding effortless with her plainspoken lyrics.

Fresh from touring overseas, Courtney joined Sweetie and Shag on Arvos for a chat and a jam session – before she heads back overseas to continue promoting her debut album Sometimes I Sit and Think and Sometimes I Just Sit. They chatted about her method for conquering nerves by detachment, dealing with fame, and her recent world-wide adventures.

Courtney also gifted Sweetie and Shag with a live rendition of “Dead Fox” in the studios – watch it below.
