VIDEO PREMIERE: Too Birds takes no prisoners with ‘I’m The Peak’

May 11th 2021

Quickly backing up their sophomore album ‘Melbourne 2’, Too Birds delivers an epileptic cacophony of textures on their new video for ‘I’m The Peak’.

Escaping reality, Teether and Realname rap from the inside of a coffin whilst skeletons dart across the screen. The video is unsettling in the best way possible, with even a cameo from Buzz Lightyear burning in the family fireplace adding to the whirlwind of distorted imagery.

“too much, not enough, go away,  go away, go away.”

In an altered state of consciousness, the observer is pushed to confusion; choosing whether to fall deeper into a dream-like state or wake up to reality. Either way, the allure of the project is undeniable, and we hope to hear plenty more from the group soon.

A couple of Wednesdays ago, Teether (one-third of Too Birds) stopped by Arvos with Darren Lesaguis to chat about the new album; ‘Melbourne 2’ – your current FBi Radio Album of the Week. You can listen to the interview here.

‘I’m The Peak’ is out everywhere this Friday, May 14th. Video by Josh Kendall // Terre Noire.
