Preview :: Shady Lane OAF residency

February 1st 2013

February is going to be a kickin’ month.  Says who….?  Shady Lane!

The electronic pop trio are taking up residency at Oxford Art Factory’s Gallery Bar from February 1st and will continue to welcome you into their world every following Friday – with one exception for a very special anti-valentine’s day gig on Thursday the 14th.

With Shady Lane calling the shots – February promises to be a month of $4 tinnies, like-minded souls and a multitude of musical appearance from The Mountains, Bearhug; Little lovers, Through the Forest DoorThe Ocean Party and more.

Psych yourself into the month of madness with the video for ‘Happy Without Controls’: a wistful tune that takes you by the hand and leads you into a dreamscape of happy wonderment.  Match that feeling with imagery and you have the evocative new clip captured by Jordy Lane, the brainchild behind the Sydney outfit.  In this clip we are summoned to the water’s edge and deeper below, as this sweet psychedelic track is married blissfully with scenes of resplendent, slow-moving creatures of the sea.

Take a dive, and see it for yourself here at:
