For those new to MAP (Music Alliance Pact), it’s essentially a compact version of Eurovision – without the spandex, violence and soviet subtitles. MAP is a global initiative involving major bloggers from over 30 countries. Each music blog picks their favourite new track of the month resulting in a motherload of a music post which ends up looking like this.

If you’re the #aintnobodygottimeforthat type you’ll be pleased to know the lovely Robbie from legendary Aussie music blog Who The Hell? produces a 30 minute podcast with his top picks of the month – which you now can listen to right here!

November Mapcast:

Spain takes us on a mildly glitchy electro-siesta, Estonia gives us a fuzzy electro ballad dedicated to werewolves, while Sydney swamp rockers La Mancha Negra have a gnarly tribute to Belanglo State Forest. This is followed by an uninterrupted block of ‘rawk’ and other new music happenings from Canada, Austria and Italy.

MAPCAST is the cheapest world flight ticket you’ll get in a 30 minute audio bite. Grazie a tutti.
