Jangly guitars, lazy slacker vibes and murmured vocals… are all characteristics of Bearhug’s musical trajectory so far. But they’re nowhere to be found on new song ‘Borderlines’.

The Sydney band, who recently lost a member and are now a trio, have given us the first taste of album number two and it’s a searingly good instrumental. They certainly have something different in store for us, swapping their loose 90s demeanour for some searing guitar fuzz. Get ready for more, too – Spunk tell us that “So Gone is a guitar album”.
