You can have Le Pie and eat it too.

Le Pie is a solo lady out of Sydney who, having spent her formative years learning the grungy ropes of punk bands in pubs, has stepped forward to create her own genre-defying musical poetry. Her debut track is dark but brings with it the charm of a sweet, 60s ditty. Called ‘Secrets’, it is a futuristic, layered and pop-savvy piece, with a wipe over of grunge reverb. Think of it as if Jane Birkin et Serge Gainsbourg joined an underground punk band, then went to a poetry slam.

The single is a pay-what-you-will of Bandcamp by the way.

We're going to hazard a guess that Szymon will inspire a big folk injection into the melodies of future electronic releases and will be a landmark as the beginning of a new genre.
