We’re thrilled to introduce Ifeoma Obiegbu and Benny Johnson as the new hosts of our flagship breakfast program Up For It, weekdays from 7am-10am.

Hailing from Minto, Ify (she/her) is a poet who has hosted Lunch and Mornings at FBi Radio, bringing a vibrancy and sense of ease to the mic. Benny (they/she), an Engadine local, has been firmly entrenched in the station, having been volunteer coordinator, Soundcheck producer, and a presenter. Maleeka Gazula (she/her) has hosted Up For It for two years which places her in prime position to handle the overall vibe of show as executive producer. She will also lead a team of daily producers to ensure the show brings you the best Sydney music, arts, and culture has to offer every day.

This announcement comes with a new timeslot of 7-10am, alongside a restructuring of Up For It which for the past two years has seen a number of presenters take on the breakfast slot at 6am on a daily rotation. Shout out to the original team, Lill Scott, Nazlican Eren and Dan Rispler, Sidd Sharma, Helena Baronne-Peters, Maleeka Gazula, and later new hosts Bindi Mutiara, Kate Saap, Mikayla Floriano, Karvesh Pillai, Emily Elvish and Reina Cogan.
