The Spunk Records Annual Family Show is happening this New Years Day in the coastal town of Thirroul, which is just an hour or so south of Sydney. Headlined by Unknown Mortal Orchestra, the line up also sees spunks (ha, geddit?) like Collarbones, RL Jones (of Middle East fame), Bearhug, Shining Bird and Emma Rusack soundtrack the infantile hours of 2013. The perfect hangover cure post New Years Eve, the event is the perfect excuse to grab your togs and escape the city to laze by the beach, all before spending the evening in the company of some beautiful live music. Sounds like absolute bliss!
