We’ve been huge fans of Gordi since she first began releasing music a few years ago. Returning home after a long international tour including performances with Bon Iver (whose label, Jagjaguwar, has just signed Gordi), we were thrilled to have the singer-songwriter perform an intimate set in the magical Stoneleigh Hotel.

In partnership with Stoneleigh Wine, the previously abandoned building in Chippendale was transformed into a wild, wonder of nature. Each room was overgrown with natural elements: plants, fruits, earth and stones from the ancient Wairu River, which runs through the Stoneleigh vineyards in Marlborough. From the ‘Wild Valley Ballroom’ to the ‘Great Wining Hall’, guests had the opportunity to explore the hotel while sipping on the NZ winemaker’s finest sauvignon blanc and pinot noir.

We can hardly imagine a more fairytale setting for a live set from Gordi!
