ART/WORK opening

Fabulous Monster storytelling

It’s back again! The monthly storytelling night and competition, featuring writers reading out their fiction and non-fiction both in an intimate space. This month’s competition theme is “guts”.

Xu Zhiyuan in conversation with Nicholas Jose for Sydney Writers' Festival

Xu Zhiyuan is a cultural intellectual, writer and journalist whose been described by Ai Wei Wei as ‘The Most Important Chinese Intellectual of His Generation’. He’ll be in conversation with Nicolas Jose talking about his book ‘Paper Tiger: Inside the Real China’ where he profiles several controversial figures such as Ai Wei Wei and sheds a light on the lesser known scandals that really rocked china
