In recent times, punters have had growing concerns over the survival of various festivals countrywide. With the culling of Harvest and the ongoing struggles of the iconic Big Day Out, this concern is justified. In this uncertain climate, Mountain Sounds has stepped up to the plate to provide us with a boutique festival (presented by FBi) showcasing some of the countries most buzz-worthy bands in the beautiful region that is the central coast.

With an initial line-up bolstered by indie heavyweights (Ball Park Music, Jinja Safari, The Holidays) and some of the country’s finest rising electronic artists (Cosmo’s Midnight, Wordlife, Slow Blow), the full bill has now been finalised. They certainly haven’t held back with this second announcement, adding acts such as Melbourne up and comers World’s End Press, central coast rockers Sea Legs and Sydney’s own Thieves.
