Italian theorist and curator Leandro Pisano and Sydney-based multisensory artist and wine writer Jo Burzynska explore the rural resonances of their intersecting sound-based projects in remote southern Italian communities.

Dial History

A study in pre-9/11 aviation terrorism, Dial H-I-S-T-O-R-Y (1997) traces the history of aeroplane hijacking as portrayed by mainstream television media. Director Johan Grimonprez combines reportage, food footage, home video and re-enactment to construct a pseudo-narrative chronicle of the escalating dynamic between skyjackers and a viewing public obsessed with their spectacle.
