This exciting exhibition at the Conservatorium Library is based on PhD candidate, Jing Cai’s research: Redesigning Opera in New Cultural Contexts, showcasing an operatic snapshot of China today through a case study – National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Beijing.

Sydney Ideas: The Road to Indigenous Repatriation

For more than 60 years the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC had stolen ancestral remains in its collection. It was only recently that the bones were repatriated.
