Don’t you just love it when your friends get along?

Our local lady Caitlin Park and Melbourne beat-maker Tim Shiel, aka Faux Pas, recently caught up in a local church. Two incredibly talented electronic musicians, just hanging out, in a church. You know. Whoever told you Sunday school wasn’t cool?!

The result: Caitlin’s track ‘Baby Teeth’ has had a Faux Pas makeover – adding a relentless bassline, mysterious echoes, not-quite-right minor chords and beats full of anticipation. ‘Dramatic House’ is what they’ve termed it on SoundCloud, and we couldn’t agree more with that description.

For those who may have forgotten where they know the name Caitlin Park from, this might help remind you… Caitlin was a finalist in 2011’s Northern Lights Competition: where FBi chose two amazingly talented unsigned electronic musicians from Sydney and sent them over to the Iceland Airwaves Festival in Reykjavic, along with our music director, Dan Zilber.
