As they prepared for their 4 night sold-out run of Opera House shows, Wu-Tang Clan’s Cappadonna and Inspectah Deck dropped in for a chat with/to fulfil the lifelong dream of Tommy Codling on Arvos.

In Australia to bring to an end the 25th Anniversary celebrations of ‘Enter The Wu-Tang’ (released Nov 9 1993), the duo talked about what it’s been like to witness their legacy play out in front of them, with New York proclaiming November 9 ‘Wu-Tang Day’, and so many of the current generation of rappers citing the album as a foundational influence all these years on:

“You see A$AP Rocky… breaking it down how it was so inspiring for us to come out and create the mould for them to carry that torch and to dive into the music with the blueprint already set.”

They also opened up about intra-Wu-Tang competition, the truth about Martin Shkreli and the $2mil Wu-Tang CD only he and the Feds have heard, ODB v YDB, and plans for a new record. Twenty-five years on and still ain’t nothing to fuck with.
