Watch :: Palms ‘A Supposedly Fun Thing I’ll Never Do Again’

December 18th 2013

Expecting another pair of socks for Christmas? Think again!

Sydney legends Palms are making Christmas come early with this glorious clip for their next single, plus the news that they’re touring with one of our favourite live acts, The Gooch Palms!

‘A Supposedly Fun Thing I’ll Never Do Again’ is filled with Palms’ signature addictive guitar hooks and memorable lyrics. The beautifully shot black and white video accompanying it was recorded at their gig in the Brighton Up Bar (though it looks more like an ’80s high school dance, in the best way). Palms play to a crowd of good looking people who are losing their shit while confetti flies. Spot your face?

The single is an shot of adrenaline straight to the heart, and an absolute gem for all the upcoming Christmas barbies we’re all about to attend. If you haven’t dug in to Step Brothers, the band’s stellar debut album that the track is taken from, we recommend rectifying this situation right now. If you know and love it, maybe you should vote for it in the FBi SMAC Awards – Step Brothers has been nominated for Record of the Year!

Oh, and Gooch Palms have been nominated for Best Live Act

This gig is going to be SMACtastic. A SMAC in the face. A SMACker of a time… we’ll show ourselves out.
