I don’t know about you, but I always find that my vodka lime & soda tastes about 50 times better when served with a fresh wedge of sweet, sweet karma. If you like to mix your drinks and your good deeds, listen up: Do Something Good is a new monthly charity fundraiser party held at The Burdekin on Oxford Street – with free entry all night and great local music.

Each party will be curated by a different person or group, who organise the music for the night and choose which charity gets the dollar dollar bills. The money raised for the selected charity comes from bar sales on the night – and the drinks are cheap, so no excuses!

The next party is this Friday 5th October, and Tooths.com.au is running the show. Tooths is a small music-focused website which has worked on videos with Seekae, Jonti, Ariel Pink, My Disco and many others. They’re raising money for esteemed charity the Australian Red Cross: “Red Cross is there for people in need, no matter who you are, no matter where you live.“
