Western Sydney’s burgeoning RnB scene is absolutely rife with talent, but you’d be hard pressed to find anyone as young and accomplished as Lara Andallo. Lara’s third major label release ‘Said&Done’ premiered on Arvos with Tommy Codling.

19-year-old Lara Andallo never anticipated a career in music. A dancer from way back, the Filipino-Australian hailing from Western Sydney saw a string of serious injuries at age 15 lead her to the piano, where she could express the loneliness she was feeling. Two years later, she had transformed parts of her home into a music studio and released a string of bedroom recordings. Fast forward to the present day, she’s been signed to a major label and she has two huge singles to her name (‘Confidental’ and ‘180’ feat. Lil Spacely).

All of Andallo’s tracks are expressive, confident and refined beyond her years. Her newest release ‘Said&Done’ is one for the ladies – featuring expertly-melodic vocals laid over a bouncy trap beat, the result is a perfect soundtrack for getting ready for a night out with your girl gang. Andallo has denounced whoever or whatever it is that’s been “killing her vibe”, and she’s ready to take on the world.

“Said&Done makes me feel like a boss lady. It’s that self-love, bad bitch mood you feel, straight after you get ready. When you’re looking in the mirror and just feel real cute and good about yourself.”

‘Said&Done’ is a sign of things to come, and if Sydney is to become known internationally for the strength of its RnB offerings, it’ll be Lara Andallo leading the charge.
