We’ve got new residents!

Two very different Sydney-based collectives are taking over FBi Click‘s Residency in July and August: Ministry of Sound’s summer-ready dance imprint etcetc, and the warehouse-partying joint venture of Flow-Fi and Fling Fling, Flux.

Both crews will bring their impressive artist rosters into the studio for guest mixes, interviews and more; broadcasting each Wednesday at 4pm on digital radio and online.

It’s good time for these new mates to join the family: we’re just over the hangover from FBi Click’s first birthday at Goodgod (debaucherous photos here). The station’s first year saw Gilles Peterson and Red Bull Music Academy Radio join the 24/7 dance and electronic schedule, which also includes local legends Motorik, Astral People, Purple Sneakers, Picnic, Foreigndub Airwayvz and more.

etcetc – July

Few are better equipped to bring sunny, festival vibes to winter than etcetc’s finest – Kilter, Paces, Set Mo, Palace, Father Dude, Godwolf, Flamingo and POOLCLVB. They’ll take control of the decks and the mic for an hour each over four shows, undoubtedly with some surprises in store.

 

 

Flux – August

Fling Fling’s Aiko and Andrew will bring the type of soulful, bass-heavy beats that make warehouses shudder at their Flux parties. A guest joins them each week to chat and play tunes before creating a song on the spot from a given sample – Zuri Akoko, Aywy and Swindail have all put their hand up.
