Despite adding pop-minded vocals to their palette, Seekae don’t sound any less stripped back and ethereal.

Alex Cameron‘s voice is not a lazy tool for gaining a wider audience, rather a part of an artistic endeavor that’s payed off brilliantly. Like all things Seekae, every sound is well-considered, and in fact often over-considered to the point of being surprising. But that haunting, soulful element of their sound has inflated beyond belief. You could say that this new Seekae tune has infused the mournfulness of Bon Iver with the charm of Toro y Moi.

Though I guess it’s not surprising that they’ve pulled it off this well; after all, Cameron has done all this before.
