Interview: No small fans for Matty Matheson

Viceland’s own foul-mouthed Torontoan gastronome Matty Matheson stopped by the Weekend Overhang to serve up some sizzling hot takes on BBQ, veganism and plus-size modelling with a light dusting of mic-burps and f-bombs.
A prolific creator of cooking content, Matty Matheson was out for the Beer and BBQ Fest, lending his signature noms – including hectic smoked prime rib + the Big Mac pizza – to the weekend-long meat jamboree.
If you’re vegan though, you’re still OK by Matty he assures us (“vegetables are great!”) but tbh listening to him try to sound down with veganism is like listening to your granddad try to sound down with your new job as a social media engagement co-ordinator – broadly supportive with absolutely no idea what the hell he’s talking about.
