Mere Women On ‘Big Skies’, Isolation & Writing at Blackwire

July 1st 2017

  • Mere Women :: Interview with Sweetie and Al

Having just unveiled their brand new record, Big Skies, , Mere Women’s Trisch Roberts and Flyn McKinnirey joined Sweetie and Al on Arvos to fill us in on all the juicy details.

From writing chunks of the record together at their home away from home, Blackwire Records, to helping bandmate Amy Wilson move out to the country in the middle of a dust storm, writing this record was no walk in the park. The results of their efforts are a thing of beauty – Big Skies is Mere Women’s third full length record, and was our FBi Radio Album of the Week.

Catch Trisch and Flyn discussing the ins and outs of the LP and the merits of not having a driver’s licence above.

‘Big Skies’ is out now through Poison City Records.
