The Backchat team attended the ‘#SaveSheikhJarrah, Free Palestine, Commemorate Al Nakba’ protest on Saturday, May 15 2021.
Thousands gathered outside Sydney Town Hall to show solidarity for Palestine. After speeches from diaspora and allies, the masses circled around the CBD. At the end of the rally, a man climbed to the top of the building and triumphantly waved the Palestinian flag in front of the crowd.
