Exclusive Mix :: Space Junk ‘Back to Berlin’

August 24th 2012

Berlin rules. It’s got bears. It’s got beers. You can have a beer with a bear. I MEAN C’MON.

It’s also got some of the best nightlife in the world, thanks to the labyrinth of underground clubs, ruin bars and squat parties it plays host to. Unsurprisingly, Berlin is also something of a Mecca for damn good house music.

Space Junk (aka Telly Maragopoulos, host of FBi’s Frequency show) was lucky enough to spend some time in Berlin recently. Having sampled the city’s weird and wonderful clubs, and no doubt enjoying many a beer with a bear, Space Junk has come back all inspired. He has put together a mix that represents the house and deep house scene in the clubbing capital of the world, and he’s giving it to you kids for FREE.

The Back to Berlin mix captures the essence of house, jazz, techno and deep house, and includes tracks and remixes from Disclosure, Robosonic, Daniel Dexter, Monte, Hot Since 82 and Nikola Gala.

Space Junk works under various aliases (including Digital Love) and has supported the likes of Paul Kalkbrenner, Nero, Erick Morillo and Anthony Pappa… just to name a few. When he’s not hosting Frequency on FBi, he’s spinning records in Sydney’s best clubs.
