Xerox - An Exhibition of Laser Printed Posters

The humble “xerox”, otherwise known as a photocopy, is being reimagined by seven local artists through this exhibition.

Airspace Projects opens its doors with three new exhibitions. Opening this week, experience “Nostradamus: A January Offering,” “FLEX,” and “Happy New Year,” curated by Seb Henry-Jones and Nanette Orly, with collaborative co curation by Upasana Papadopoulos.

On the Border of Things Part One

For the first instalment of PACT’s Afterglow series, James Nguyen presents a bilingual performance that explores the movement of people, industry and culture. After the performance ends, catch DJ sets on PACT’s foyer stage.

January-February at Verge

Verge is opening two exciting new exhibitions, showing over the January-February period. Gallery 1 features a studio based practice, whilst Gallery 2 is home to Documents, Alternatives #2. Opening night features a special performance by artists Morrad + McArthur performing live sound work including saxophone improvisation, the first time in their collaborative history.

Open (VR) Studio - Joan Ross

Have a go at learning the process of tactical art making in VR, with guest artist Joan Ross co-facilitating the workshop with Tactical Space Lab.

MCA Artbar: Curated by Kate Beynon

Kat Beynon kicks off 2018 with a show that contemplates ‘mixture’ across cultural identity. From transformations, the supernatural and shapeshifting to hybridity, in-between states, fluidity and the fantastical.

Expect video works, dance classes, panel discussions, rooftop DJ’s and so much more.

Opening: Lee Kun Yong: Equal Area

Lee Kun Yong’s influential career in performance art has been recognised globally since the 1970s. This weekend he will appear for a solo show at 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art.
