Wednesday 8th :: Ponder the Imponderable
Tonight Alaska Projects brings you the launch of the third solo show by Sydney based photographer Samuel Hodge. His lo-fi photography is described as “a dreamy sex space where it’s always the moment before or the morning after (but without the regret and with an extra side of model)” This new body of work focusses portraiture, humour, fashion & longing.
Samuel’s also one of the nominees for Best Artist at the SMAC awards, and Alaska Projects are nominated for Remix the City.

Thursday 9th :: Last Drinks at the Abercrombie
Sydney’s Central Park project on Broadway just keeps going up, up, up but one fatality of the project is the Abercrombie Hotel at 100 Broadway, Ultimo, which is closing its doors indefinitely from tonight. Not one to go quietly into the night, the venue will be sending off with a huge party featuring Germany’s DJ Koze.
