New Theatre is one of Sydney’s favourite independent theatre venues that does its best to support local performers and other talented types. They will be launching their 2016 program so head along to get ahead of the game.

This Changes Everything

December at Firstdraft
The Artist Run Initiative extraordinaire that is Firstdraft is kicking off their final show for 2015. The gallery that this year has brought us everything from Segway video works by Dara Gill and intoxicating colour caves from Rosie Deacon. For the final month of the year the four galleries have been taken over by local and international artist. Watch Rebecca Gallo and Connie Anthes in their live art projects that explores the role of audiences and collectors in the generation of art works and art market value.

Architecture Takeover
It is a fact of life that architects know how to party, and it has been described by many as the best party of the year. A graduation show like no other. The Sydney University Architecture students will be taking over the confusing cluster of corridors that is the Architecture and design building for hidden bars, and impressive designs for the kids that will shape the skyline of the future.

Design Your Future
Now in its fifth year, designing your future is an educational design collaboration between Sydney Olympic Park and South Western Sydney Institute’s Lidcombe design students.
