Peats Ridge Arts and Music Festival 2011 asked us if we know any good musicians that could play at the festival this year. We said we would ask around but couldn't promise anything. We are such jokers.

Entries are now open for artists from around Australia keen to take to the festival stage, and we reckon that applies to many of you. The chilled-out and super friendly event has proved a launch pad for many an FBi favourite, from The Jezabels and Cloud Control, Decoder Ring and PVT, Temper Trap and Parades to We Say Bamboulee and Deep Sea Arcade. The three-day love-in is relaxed and real nice. You'd fit right in.

Head to the Peats Ridge website, fill out a submission form and attach all your attachments by Tuesday 30 August. They're also looking for art and theatre types to add their sparkle. The show runs from Thursday 29 December until Sunday 1 January, and usually draws a happy camping crowd of around 10 000. All the fun goes down in the lush green Glenworth Valley (about an hour from Sydney).
