Council’s flagship event, the Marrickville Festival once again brings together all our diverse and vibrant people, cultures, and creative communities with a feast of international cuisine, live music and entertainment.

With over 120 stalls displaying local produce, handmade artisan works, gifts and community groups as well as a Main Stage program and The Break music competition, featuring up and coming bands Jetson Manic, Go Mason Go, Merlin Twist and Unusual Vibe, who will battle it out for a change to record a new EP.

Together with a range of free activities for kids, there is also a host of activities for the whole family. The Marrickville Festival will be held along Marrickville and Illawarra Roads on Sunday 20 October from 10am – 5pm.
