Swick uncorks bubbling club and future rap on Switch

October 30th 2017

  • Swick :: Switch Mix

Sydney producer Swick is one of the most unique minds in Australian club music. His high energy beats and out of this world synthesis make for forward thinking dance tracks that are primed for festivals and dancefloors alike. He’s caught the attention of artists like Tkay Maidza, Spank Rock, Diplo and Nina Las Vegas (who signed him to her label) with his colourful production style and knack for creating addictive hooks and basslines.

While talking with Sandro Dallarmi on Switch, Swick touched on the intersection of pop and club music, explaining that a lot of the work that he and his label mates on NLV Records are doing is “somewhere in between”. In a little over half an hour he blurs that line with a mix that’s brimming with unreleased edits from the man himself alongside some choice club-ready rap, grime and dance tunes.
