Get set to strap yourself in and be taken for a ride courtesy of the timeless bops from Zoë Fox and the Rocket Clocks.

Releasing your debut album on the cusp of global self-isolation may have sounded dire a few months ago, but for Melbourne’s Zoë Fox and the Rocket Clocks, it turned out anything but.

After launching around 2016, the past few years have seen ZF&TRC sharpen their musical chops, smashing out sets at many a show along the east coast, including supporting legends Donny Benét, GUM & The Babe Rainbow. With a couple singles already out in the universe, the band was all set to launch their debut LP Clockwerks to a tightly packed Northcote Social Club in late March.

But, of course, ‘Rona had other ideas. Instead, Zoë channeled that energy and bounced around her lounge room playing some of the LP’s gleamy, transportive melodies via live stream to hundreds on hundreds as part of Isol-Aid Festival.

That same energy and charm translates in all of Zoë Fox and the Rocket Clocks’ work, expertly balancing fun and gravity, and oozing cool & mega smooth vibes. Particularly evident on second single ‘Spare Me The Time’. Give ‘em some below.

Tune into Up For It every Monday morning to meet your new Independent Artist of the Week!
