Based on the life of Canadian artist Maud Lewis, Maudie is the story of an unlikely romance between the artist and a recluse who hires her as his housekeeper.

Starring Academy Award Nominees Sally Hawkins and Ethan Hawke, this moving biopic focuses on unexpected, deep and abiding love despite difficulty and a sudden rise to fame.

Maudie is in cinemas August 24.
