Director Ari Aster presents Midsommar, the follow up to the movie that put him on the map, Hereditary. In this folk horror film, a young couple travels to Sweden to visit their friend’s rural hometown and attend its mid-summer festival. Kicking off as an idyllic retreat, their holiday quickly unravels into an increasingly violent and bizarre competition at the hands of a pagan cult. Midsommar hits Dendy Newtown on August 8.
