FBi Radio Presents: Sydney Writers’ Festival
Date
Location
Sydney Writers’ Festival is back in 2020, with over 400 international and Australian authors coming together to consider the prescient theme Almost Midnight.
Drawn from the metaphor of the Doomsday clock, and its current position of just 100 seconds to global catastrophe, some of the world’s sharpest literary minds will discuss change, potential and renewal, over one week of conversation and storytelling.
This year’s program includes the author of 2019 Booker Prize winner Girl, Woman, Other Bernadine Evaristo, Nobel Peace Prize–nominated founder of the Umbrella Movement Joshua Wong, award-winning author of Dark Emu, Bruce Pascoe and many more.
Sydney Writers’ Festival is happening April 27 – May 3 at Carriageworks and the Seymour Centre as well as various other Sydney venues. Head here for the full program.
