FBi Radio Presents: All Girl Electronic 2018

Date

13 March 2018 - 5 May 2018

Location

Information and Cultural Exchange, Parramatta

Are you a bedroom music producer? Do you want to experiment with synths, MIDI controllers and Ableton Live?

We’re partnering with Information and Cultural Exchange to offer a series of workshops and special events for young women in Western Sydney who want to produce electronic music. Be trained and mentored in music software, composition and arrangement, recording, production and performance by some of Sydney’s best producers.

All Girl Electronic is for:

  • female youth (including trans and non-binary)
  • aged 15-25
  • from/based in Western Sydney
  • interested in electronic music production

Over 8 weeks you’ll be trained and mentored by some of Sydney’s best producers, delving into Ableton Live and learning how to produce your own tracks. Workshops cover sampling, mixing, recording and beat making. Together you will learn how to compose with Ableton, an introduction to synths and production basics with a focus on recording processes.

Choose between one of two streams:
Tuesdays | 13 March – 1 May 2018 | 6pm – 9.30pm
Saturdays | 17 March – 5 May 2018 | 11am – 2.30pm
