From two-time Grammy award winning director Melina Matsoukas, comes Queen & Slim. Following Queen and Slim on a forgettable first date, the black man (Get Out’s Daniel Kaluuya) and black woman (Jodie Turner-Smith, in her first starring feature-film role) are pulled over for a minor traffic infringement which quickly escalates, forcing the two to go on the run in fear of their lives.

Queen & Slim takes a long hard look at harsh realities of American society through the lens of a powerful love story confronting the staggering human toll of racism and the life-shattering price of violence.

Queen & Slim hits cinemas on March 12, but you can see it first with FBi Radio at Dendy Newtown on Tuesday March 10 at 6.30pm.
