Ahead of the release of their first album in four years, Mount Kimbie have just unveiled new single ‘Delta’ overnight.

The track made its Australian premiere on Up For It with Lucy Smith this morning. Accompanied by visuals directed by long-term collaborator Frank Lebon, this is the latest taste of Mount Kimbie’s third album ‘Love What Survives’.

On ‘Delta’, pre-midi grooves are paired with a frenetic filmclip exploring identity through a love story and a bank robbery. Of the visual component, Lebon explains:

We follow Milson Pulse on 21/05/17; the day he is convinced to plan and take part in a robbery lead by his girlfriend. It is also the day Milson goes missing. On a journey through his fragile mind Milson experiences chameleonic spasms during the stress he is under. I like to believe that Milson Pulse came to the conclusion a change is as good as a rest”.

Intense stuff. Check it out below.

‘Love What Survives’ by Mount Kimbie is out Friday September 8 on Warp Records via Inertia Music.
