Since the full stream of Random Access Memories came out two days ago (much to the outrage of everyone who’s rented a Wicked van headed for Wee Waa this weekend), I thought Nile Rodgers had to be 100% the greatest thing to happen to Daft Punk.

Now, though, there’s a little competition. Brisbane band Pigeon have done a live full-band medley of the greatest Daft anthems, and it is bloody fantastic to watch:

Pigeon came in to FBi a couple of months ago for a chat with Stephen Ferris. They played their song ‘All That Bad’ live in the studio – not with a full band a la the above clip, but quite the opposite… they played the whole thing on their iPhones. Watch and be amazed (and just wait for the Gotye reference)…
