It’s been a tough job getting live music on the go in Sydney in the face of venue closures, lockouts and other barriers. So we couldn’t have been more stoked with the announcement of a new local festival last year – Volumes – which spread live music across Darlinghurst with two days of Australian talent. Returning this year with an extra venue in tow, we’re looking forward to the first lineup dropping for Volumes 2016!

One of the bands who raised the bar at last year’s festival was Melbourne four-piece Gold Class. To help energise you for the upcoming music extravaganza details released soon – watch them performing their single “Life as a Gun” under a sea of visuals at Brighton Up Bar.

Volumes 2016 takes place on August 26 + 27 across Oxford Art Factory, Brighton Up Bar, The Cliff Dive and The Burdekin. Lineup to be announced soon: volumes2016.com
