There is nothing more genuine in the music world than a bloke and a braud teaming up to blend vocals with a wholesome acoustic background. We saw it with Angus & Julia Stone a few years back, and we’re seeing it again with Miles & Simone, a musical duo and long-term friends from Melbourne. After months of belting out lonesome duets in their backyard, M&S have just released a debut album and film clip to their beautifully nostalgic tune ‘I Recall’.

The clip is set in an old-school motel and portrays the classic story of two newlyweds who slowly drift apart from one and other. Miles & Simone play our leading roles in the film clip, and offer us a lyrically superb number laced with some spot-on harmonies and a soft acoustic musicality that simply flourishes with their vocals.

It’s hard not to be completely compelled by the perfect fusion of music and video in this track, and I can assure you that the Mondayitis will be cured if you check it out. It’s three minutes that I guarantee you won’t be regretting.
