Who has two (green) thumbs and is listening to some top tier tunes? This guy. The music is coming from Flowertruck by the way.

A garden-themed four piece out of Sydney, Flowertruck paints a sun soaked picture of fun with their music. It’s slathered in washed out vocals, framed in synth and drenched in sepia feels, plus upbeat drums. Made up of Sarah Sykes, Hamish Dobinson, Charles Rushforth and Will Blackburn, the herbalists haven’t been around long and are patenting the happy-go-lucky ‘dolewave’ sound that happens when inner city loons write songs that fill up a much wider space than their packed and, probably grubby, surroundings.

Their latest single ‘I Wanna Be With You’ is a sparkling ode to beer soaked picnics in the sun and being a bit silly. It’s low maintenance, high reward beach-rock and the single launches next Friday, details below.
