Here for Meredith Music Festival, the second sold-out Sydney show for The War On Drugs fell on a very tense day for this city with the siege in Martin Place. But we couldn’t have asked for a more soothing distraction.

After playing Falls Festival over the new year, The War On Drugs took over Oxford Art Factory with their unique take on classic rock. Frontman Adam Granduciel and the band captivated the audience with their mesmerising jams and Springsteen-esque energy.
