WIN FILM TICKETS: BBC First British Film Festival

The BBC First British Film Festival returns for a third year with a huge program of 31 films. The festival is taking place all around the country at selected Palace Cinema locations. The Sydney leg kicks off Tuesday October 27 and runs till Wednesday November 18 at the Palace Verona on Norton Street in Leichhardt.

Just a few films in the massive lineup include the big-screen instalment of the cult classic series Spooks. Absolutely Anything, a reunion of the Monty Python crew with bonus Simon Pegg. Brooklyn, based on the novel by acclaimed English author Nick Hornby. From director Sarah Gavron, Suffragette starring Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter and Meryl Streep. Stephen Frears’ new film The Program, about Lance Armstrong, starring Chris O’Dowd. And The Man Who Knew Infinity, the story of genius mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.
