Independent Artist Of The Week: Willaris. K

October 9th 2017

Northern NSW newcomer Willaris. K creates moody, textured electronica built for the heaviest of dance floors.

Twenty three year old producer Jack McAllister trades in his tools by day for  synthesizers by night with the release of his latest project – a video trilogy for his debit track ‘Alchemy’ and his two new tracks ‘Dour Nights’ and ‘River Song.’

According to McAllister, the intense, emotionally driven ‘Dour Nights’ explores the “feeling of that moment you let go of whatever it may be holding you back”. No stranger to letting go, five months ago the Northern NSW producer took his first day of a year long annual leave to pursue music full time. He’s since supported Seekae and George Fitzgerald, in addition to having played sets at Splendour In The Grass, Groovin’ The Moo and Sydney’s Volumes Festival.
