Innovative and versatile, Stevan’s sound echoes greats such as Frank Ocean, Mac DeMarco, Childish Gambino and Moses Sumney, and flexes a powerhouse natural ability.

Debut single ‘Timee’ feels like a skilfully woven tapestry: threading classic hip hop through lush contemporary production. It’s silky; softened by deft lyricism, and embellished with soaring harmonies. It sees a mellow guitar colour it in warm, muted tones, and flaunts a craft that could’ve taken decades to master. At only 18 years old, Stevan’s musical ingenuity signals not only his talent as a beat maker, but a very vibrant future.

Stevan’s art is marked by his striking maturity, and it’s a theme he says plays into his songwriting.

“I’ve been living with this song for quite some time. I wrote it when I was 16 and can’t say much as has changed since then, I’m 18 now and I still relate to the song hope you do too.”

‘Timee’ seems to subvert the confines of genre, and stands as a testament to Steven’s broad musical interests growing up. First listening to Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder on his father’s cassette tapes, then trying his hand at drumming and mimicking the flow of rappers such as Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. Eventually moving onto production, Stevan quickly developed his craft – painting dreamy walls of sound with a masterful hip hop flow.

In the last 18 months, Stevan has celebrated his high school graduation, and been celebrated as an artist. He’s signed to US label Honeymoon Records (Rejjie Snow, Anna of the North)/300 Entertainment (Young Thug, Migos), the esteemed Niche Productions, and management team Astral People alongside other greats like Cosmo’s Midnight, Winston Surfshirt, GL, Milan Ring and more.

Stevan will be supporting the NSW Winston Surfshirt’s ‘Baked Goods’ tour in coming months, and if the quality of Stevan’s music on record is anything to go off, the live shows will be a damn treat.
