Independent Artist Of The Week: Habits

Abrasive, forward-thinking Melbourne band Habits are the self-professed “sad goth party jam” duo you’ve been waiting all damn year for.

The pair have recently released their latest track ‘Shame/Desire’ off the back of their previous EP ‘Ugly Cry’ – released April last year. Pushing the boundaries of experimental dance music, Habits have since become known for their intensely visceral live performances and dazzling visuals.

Following their first release ‘Ether’ two years ago, the duo have since played alongside the likes of BV, Friendships and Wahe, as well as appearances at festivals Sugar Mountain, Golden Plains and Freedom Time.
