It’s that time of year again! The festive season is just around the corner, and as always it marks the perfect time to decompress, get together with loved ones and gift give. HYDROMANIA Danielle Karlikoff Pop Up

 

Known for her gloopy jewellery that walks the line between object and art, Sydney based jeweller, designer and artist Danielle Karlikoff is presenting her first retail pop-up at the very sleek atelier venue Usfin. Until now, Danielle has exclusively worked on a commission basis, creating pieces that have adorned the fingers, necks, ears and bags of many a cutie. Now she is taking her commitment to one-off pieces to the next level, creating not only an array of unique jewellery and objects for you to purchase, but also a unique environment that will appeal to all the senses.

4A Artist’s Car Boot Sale

 

Descend into the lower levels of World Square to discover a buzzing market of emerging and established artists selling their wares. Parked cars will be transformed into mini galleries and car boots into market stalls for you to fossick through and find yourself a piece of one-off original art just in time for the festive season. Think driver-seat seances, artworks delivered straight from the studio and intimate car boot performances.

Alaska Project Fundraiser Auction

 

Where better to find the perfect gift than in the dank basement of a inner city carpark? Head down to level 2 of the Kings Cross Carpark to discover ALASKA Projects just in time for their end of year fundraiser and celebration. Works by some of Australia’s most renowned contemporary artists will be going under the hammer in a silent and live auction with all proceeds going to supporting ALASKA Projects. They gift you art, you gift them longevity, it’s a win win!
